Description

Freestyle is currently seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Strategist to expand our creative/marketing team and implement digital marketing initiatives for a variety of clients.

The duties of the Digital Marketing Strategist include, but are not limited to:

  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC)
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Google Display advertising (Google certification preferred)
  • YouTube Pre-roll
  • Paid social media advertising
  • Maintaining clients’ social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
  • Brainstorm and strategize for implementation of Freestyle clients’ digital marketing
  • Copywriting for clients’ social media
  • Basic graphic design for clients’ social media posts
  • Write original, creative blog posts for various clients
  • Researching content and emerging trends for digital marketing and social media
  • Writing press releases for clients and pitching news stories to local media outlets
  • Preparing creative plans for prospective clients regarding digital marketing and social media plans
  • Prepare monthly reports for each client (compiling Google Analytics and Facebook Insights)
  • Assist the Freestyle team with day-to-day digital marketing responsibilities

 

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, strategic communications and/or a related degree
  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • Familiarity with AP Style
  • Strong writing skills
  • Some experience with graphic design
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Familiarity with WordPress and other online content management systems
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and Google Adwords
  • Desire to work in a creative, collaborative environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate both visually and verbally
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to multi-task while being thorough, accurate and detail oriented

 

Weekly Hours: Candidate must be available to work 40 hours per week, on location, between the hours of 8am to 5pm.
