Freestyle Creative is currently accepting applications for business development interns. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in sales, networking and lead generation. Responsibilities of business development interns vary according to needs of the business development department.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Collect and organize leads with the business development team
• Draft and proofread content for requests for proposals, bids and presentations to potential clients
• Work with the business development team to brainstorm and strategize recommended services and budgets for potential clients’ campaigns
• Attend meetings with potential new clients
• Conduct research for potential clients’ campaigns, Freestyle marketing initiatives, etc.
• Content creation for Freestyle’s social media platforms and website

Internship Requirements:

• College junior or senior studying business, management, public relations, advertising, marketing or communications
• Strong writing skills (AP Style preferred)
• Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to effectively communicate both visually and verbally
• Desire to work in a creative, collaborative environment
• Ability to multitask while being thorough, accurate and detail-oriented
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Compensation:
Freestyle interns must be eligible to receive course credit through a university program.

Weekly Hours:
Candidate must be available to work a range of 10-20 hours per week. Internship hours will be coordinated to fit the student’s class schedule and meet course credit requirements.
