Our Marketing Strategist position involves a variety of responsibilities, including managing client campaigns, building relationships with clients, managing and hiring interns/fellowships, and overseeing coordination of any marketing, creative or advertising needs. 

You’ll be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and successful marketing strategy for our clients. We are seeking a positive, talented, adaptable, highly-motivated, and strategic teammate with a strong work ethic. A qualified candidate for this position must have prior and/or current experience at a marketing firm, running traditional and digital campaigns, and representation of client campaign case studies. Responsibilities:
  • Set specific marketing goals for client campaigns
  • Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with campaign goals
  • Develop digital campaigns to target personas and campaign goals
  • Analyze sales and marketing metrics
  • Research market to identify new opportunities
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote client brand and products
  • Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels
  • Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction
  • Liaise with internal teams and ensure brand consistency
  • Managing client expectations on timelines, processes and results
  • Manage billable hours and utilization on projects/campaigns 
  • Writing content for clients' social media, blogs, websites and newsletters as needed
  • Assists in preparing client invoices, proposals, and marketing/media planning
  • Oversee and manage client billing and media spends
  • Audit client billing and media billing sheets on a regular basis
  • Generate new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Assists in developing new contracts for renewals and new business 
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Traditional media buys on platforms: TV, Radio, Out of Home, Print, Cable
    • Digital media buys on platforms: Google/Bing, Social Media, Programmatic (CTV, Display, Video, Native, Geo-Fencing)

Reports to:
Director of Marketing Strategy 


Experience, Hours and Compensation:
• 2-4 years minimum experience at an in-house or agency setting
• Proven work experience as a account manager, marketing coordinator
• Full-time salaried
• 40 hours per week (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday)
• In office on Mondays, Wednesdays and available for in person meetings as needed
• Salary commensurate with experience
• Additional experience and skill sets we're looking for: 
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Strategist, Marketing Manager or Account Executive
  • Client-facing experience leading meetings, fielding questions centered around marketing services, and pitching new concepts
  • Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and digital campaigns (e.g. online tools, Google, and social media)
  • Experience setting up and overseeing Google and Facebook campaigns
  • Digital and Traditional media experience is a plus
  • Ability to analyze Analytics and provide recommendations 
  • A bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, advertising or related field
