Content Marketer (Full-Time)
A Content Marketer will lead the way on content creation and implementation for Freestyle’s digital campaigns. Content creation includes producing graphics for digital campaigns and copywriting for content calendars and blogs. The strategist is responsible for implementing content onto social media platforms while using best practices and the clients’ goals at the forefront. We are seeking a positive, talented, adaptable, highly-motivated and creative individual with a strong work ethic. Applicant must work well in a fast-paced, team environment under demanding deadlines and have excellent time management skills. If this describes you, we welcome your application!

Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategy for clients’ social media account and including recommendations for copy, ad types, budget allocation, etc.
  • Campaign creation and execution through Business Manager
  • Pixel placement, tagging and tracking
  • Monitoring, optimizing and reporting on key performance indicators
  • Content creation (copywriting + graphic design) and scheduling
  • Maintaining a client’s voice, brand, and tone on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat, etc.)
  • Strategizing, creating content and implementing campaigns for Freestyle’s internal social media accounts

Requirements:

  • A degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, strategic communications and/or a related degree (preferred)
  • One to three (1-3) years of related experience
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and Business Manager
  • Experience with Wordpress 
  • Strong creative writing skills and up-to-date knowledge of AP style
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate both visually and verbally

  • Experience working in multiple mediums

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC
  • Concept-driven with a demonstrated understanding of design, layout and typography
  • Ability to communicate design considerations (both written and verbal)
  • At least 2 years of professional design experience preferred, but not required.

Reports to:

  • Day-to-day: Director of Account Services
  • Overall: President 

Hours and compensation:

  • Full-time salaried
  • 40 hours per week (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday)
