Description

Freestyle is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to expand our creative/marketing team and implement digital marketing initiatives for a variety of clients. This position would work independently on assigned projects and/or as a member of a project team.

The duties of the Digital Marketing Strategist include, but are not limited to:

Social Media Advertising

  • Copywriting for advertising content
  • Determining the best ad type for campaign success (lead generation, brand awareness, carousel, etc.)
  • Campaign creation and execution through Facebook Business Manager
  • Monitoring, optimizing and reporting on key performance indicators

Social Media Management

  • Content creation and scheduling
  • Maintaining a client’s voice, brand, and tone on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Strategizing, creating content and implementing campaigns for Freestyle’s internal social media accounts

Digital Marketing

  • Google Ads, Google Display Network and YouTube campaign development, keyword research, location targeting, mobile ad development and implementation of negative keywords
  • Goal set-up and conversion tracking
  • Google Analytics Certification is a plus
  • Google Ads Certification is a plus
  • Google Tag Manager knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge in Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a plus

Account Management/Business Development

  • Preparing strategic marketing plans and proposals for clients and potential clients regarding digital marketing and social media
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, strategic communications and/or a related degree (preferred)
  • One to three (1-3) years of related experience
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Ads
  • Strong creative writing skills and up-to-date knowledge of AP style
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
  • Desire to work in a creative, collaborative environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate both visually and verbally
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to multitask while being thorough, accurate and detail-oriented

Hours and compensation:
  • Full-time salaried
  • 40 hours per week (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday)
  • Salary commensurate with experience
