Description
Freestyle is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to expand our creative/marketing team and implement digital marketing initiatives for a variety of clients. This position would work independently on assigned projects and/or as a member of a project team.
The duties of the Digital Marketing Strategist include, but are not limited to:
Social Media Advertising
- Copywriting for advertising content
- Determining the best ad type for campaign success (lead generation, brand awareness, carousel, etc.)
- Campaign creation and execution through Facebook Business Manager
- Monitoring, optimizing and reporting on key performance indicators
Social Media Management
- Content creation and scheduling
- Maintaining a client’s voice, brand, and tone on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Strategizing, creating content and implementing campaigns for Freestyle’s internal social media accounts
Digital Marketing
- Google Ads, Google Display Network and YouTube campaign development, keyword research, location targeting, mobile ad development and implementation of negative keywords
- Goal set-up and conversion tracking
- Google Analytics Certification is a plus
- Google Ads Certification is a plus
- Google Tag Manager knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge in Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a plus
Account Management/Business Development
- Preparing strategic marketing plans and proposals for clients and potential clients regarding digital marketing and social media
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Job Requirements:
- A degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, strategic communications and/or a related degree (preferred)
- One to three (1-3) years of related experience
- Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Ads
- Strong creative writing skills and up-to-date knowledge of AP style
- Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
- Desire to work in a creative, collaborative environment
- Ability to effectively communicate both visually and verbally
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to multitask while being thorough, accurate and detail-oriented

- Full-time salaried
- 40 hours per week (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday)
