Assistant Video Producer Freestyle | Oklahoma City, OK | Full-Time

Reports to: VP / Creative Director

Day-to-day Reports to: Associate Creative Director - Video

About Freestyle

We're a full-service marketing and advertising agency based in downtown Oklahoma City doing work that moves for financial institutions, health organizations, universities, tourism boards and everyone in between. Our video and photography work is client-facing, deadline-driven and consistently high quality. We're looking for someone who can help us keep it that way.

The Role

This isn't a sit-at-your-desk job. You'll spend your time building production schedules, coordinating shoots across multiple locations and clients, showing up on location with a camera and turning around edits that make the work look as good as it felt in the room. You'll work directly with our creative team and manage the logistics that keep productions running on time and on budget.

If you're the kind of person who color-codes their calendar, knows how to talk to a venue coordinator, likes a good budget spreadsheet and can pull a clean 30-second cut before lunch, keep reading.

What You'll Do

  • Own production coordination across active shoots call sheets, vendor communication, location logistics, travel scheduling, budgeting and day-of management

  • Manage contractor relationships and help source crew support when productions require it

  • Maintain the production calendar and flag conflicts before they become problems

  • Collaborate with creative directors, art directors and account teams to keep shoots aligned with client goals

Secondary Support

  • Support event photography coverage for client shoots ranging from corporate events and galas to outdoor activations and multi-city campaigns

  • Edit and deliver social cuts, selects and short-form video content with a fast turnaround

  • Support the agency with film partnerships (network, read scripts, draft agreements and coordinate Freestyle support on local projects)

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in a production, agency or creative services environment

  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-location or multi-day productions from brief to delivery

  • Strong event photography skills: you know how to work a room, read light and deliver selects that editors want to work with

  • Comfortable in Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software

  • Detail-oriented without being slow: you can manage competing priorities and still make the deadline

Nice to Have

  • Experience with clients in banking, higher education, tourism or healthcare

  • Familiarity with agency workflows and client-facing deliverables

  • Oklahoma ties or existing relationships in the local film production community

  • A portfolio that shows range: coordination credits, event photography and edited work

What You'll Get

  • A front-row seat to Freestyle's growing productions arm with real opportunity to step into original film producing as that work scales

  • A creative team that takes the work seriously and has fun doing it

  • Exposure to a wide range of clients, industries and production formats

Hours and Compensation

  • Minimum of three years experience at an in-house or agency setting

  • Full-time salaried (Salary commensurate with experience)

  • Minimum 40 hours per week (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday)

  • In office on Mondays, Wednesdays and available for in-person meetings as needed

  • Salary commensurate with experience

Benefits

Benefits of working at Freestyle include:

  • Flexible, hybrid remote work setup

  • 401k 4% match after one year of employment

  • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, vision, dental)

  • Competitive paid time off and paid holidays

  • Regular team building events

  • Family leave

  • Short-term disability and life insurance

  • Employee assistance program (EAP)

  • Profit sharing opportunities after one year of employment

  • Ongoing professional development opportunities

  • Continual learning and industry networking opportunities

  • Team community service and volunteer opportunities
